After last week’s crazy “Heather Hadrigal” phenomenon (this paranormal fiction piece unexpectedly jumped into the Top Ten pages within 24 hours!) I had a hard time focusing on the short story I intended for this Saturday.
When I tried to concentrate on it, it was pushed aside by ideas on how to expand and improve Heather. A good sign for Heather Hadrigal, bad sign for my “short story every Saturday” idea.
So, instead of the new story I had planned, this week’s Saturday Short is a bit of previously written comic sci-fi. I hope you enjoy “Reading Cats.”
